Business search engine Yell, in an innovative manner garners up charity amounts. It does so by a brilliant scheme that has people coming in and writing reviews that may cover diverse topics. A charity may get as much as 25p for every new review that is written by a person. Another 20p is added to this in case the person also uploads photos or for that matter forwards reviews to his own friends in turn. This time round a charity named Peapods has been selected by the firm to be benefiting. The charity in the mean while deals with children suffering from big or small diseases. The charity works in Wokingham. There were as many as eight charities which participated from all across the country.

The charity initiative as done by the firm Yell is known as Trusted Places charity initiative. Julie Monahan, chairman of Peapods is extremely delighted at being selected by the firm Yell, for benefiting from the charity. She hopes that they are able to get better exposure and reaction from the people who may also become more forthcoming in helping out the charity organization. Being selected as one of the eight national charities in the country surely is going to boost off the charity’s popularity. Oxfam, the Woodland Trust and Action Against Hunger have been among the other bigger organizations that have received charity from Yell in the past.

Bonita Trust is a registered trust which was started in 2004. It aims to solve many educational and health problems. By the massive use of the internet it could reach to several thousands people in the world. The Bonita Trust provides people with solutions to reduce economic problems and helps in charity programs.

For children with severe cognitive and physical disability Bonita trust has opened Aleh. It has become Israel’s largest network of residential facilities for these disabled children. Due to limited opportunities, children with severe cognitive and physical disability are not given the required care and support for education and social welfare. In Israel approximately 200 children suffer from complex disabilities. Aleh, therefore, is making massive changes in order to change the lives of several children who require the much needed support.

Gibraltar’s National Dance Team participated in the World Showdance Championships in Riesa, Germany in the year 2008. The Bonita trust was the main sponsor for this dance team. Local dancers participated in groups, solos, and duets categories. The Gibraltar’s National Dance team makes arrangements to send these dancers to qualify in the international event. This is a non-profit making organization.

Bonita Trust also works towards the rehabilitation support of drug and alcohol addicts in Gibraltar. During power failures, the small office areas have to suffer serious problems. Apart from charity programs, Bonita Trust has also donated generators to the needy business; for example, Bonita Trust has donated a new generator to Bruce’s Farm Rehabilitation Centre. Over a twelve-week residential programme Bruce’s Farm has helped over 350 people struggling with serious problems of alcoholism, eating disorders, gambling, and drug dependency.
